Meet Kimberly Gates

Kim Gates is a dedicated real estate professional serving the Greater Sacramento and El Dorado Hills region. With more than 15 years of experience in healthcare leadership and education, Kim has built her career around helping people navigate important decisions with clarity, confidence, and personalized support.

Before transitioning into real estate, Kim developed educational programs and resources designed to help employees better serve patients and their families. That experience strengthened the skills she brings to her clients today: thoughtful communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, and the ability to simplify complex information into clear, manageable steps.

Having lived in the Sacramento region for more than 25 years, Kim offers meaningful local insight into the area’s communities, neighborhoods, schools, lifestyle, and market trends. She appreciates the region’s unique balance of strong communities, beautiful seasons, excellent schools, and convenient access to both the mountains and the coast.

Kim is passionate about helping first-time buyers, move-up buyers, downsizing homeowners, relocating families, and clients looking for a more personalized real estate experience. Her goal is to make each step feel less overwhelming and more empowering by ensuring her clients feel informed, prepared, and supported from the first conversation to the closing table and beyond.

Known for her responsiveness, calm approach, and commitment to service, Kim goes out of her way to care for the details that matter. She listens closely, communicates clearly, and walks alongside her clients every step of the journey.

As the wife of a law enforcement officer with nearly 20 years of service, Kim also has a special appreciation for first responders, healthcare professionals, nurses, and their families. She understands the demanding schedules, transitions, and lifestyle considerations that can influence real estate decisions and is committed to providing thoughtful, high-touch support.

Kim is proud to be part of Brick Lane Real Estate, a boutique brokerage known for personalized service, strong mentorship, and more than 25 years of real estate experience. With the support of Cheryl Keller and the Brick Lane team, Kim is able to combine her own service-first approach with experienced guidance, proven systems, and a collaborative team committed to exceptional client care.

When she is not helping clients, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, supporting youth sports, participating in school activities, and giving back to programs that support law enforcement and healthcare communities.

Whether buying a first home, making a move, relocating, downsizing, or exploring the next chapter, Kim is committed to helping her clients feel confident, cared for, and well-guided every step of the way.
